The ‘ Kopje’ at the back of the house, known as ‘Impimbo’ in Zulu, or ‘ Arthur Seat ‘ was an observation point for Dingaan’s Impis. Ouma se Opstal/Granny’s Homestead is surrounded by a breathtaking, lush garden and creates a perfect atmosphere of peace and tranquillity. The garden has ample place for children to run around and play, while the rest of the family can relax and unwind. Visitors can enjoy the fresh mountain air and peace in the beautiful garden with its big trees.
